One Day in Berlin with
Matthias Schweighöfer
Together with Matthias Schweighöfer, one of the most popular German actors, we spent a day in germanys vibrant capital, Berlin. As his work is gaining more and more international acclaim, his schedule is very tight. But we were lucky enough to catch up for a hot minute and followed him around Berlin & some of the places he never misses during his stays in the city.
1. Office – Berlin Mitte
Our first stop for the day is leading us to Matthias Office in the middle of Berlin.
It is a very bright and modern space on the top floor of the building. Of course we did not come with empty hands so we brought our new collection, for example our CPH1M vitello black for a little try-on session. While trying on different styles he tells us that this is one of the places he gets most inspired and feels comfortable in. We bet because of the breathtaking view above nearly whole Berlin.
He describes his office as a space where he and many creatives come together to exchange all kind of ideas that hopefully turn into movies one day.
2. Cinema – Zoo Palast
Our second stop for the day is the historically well-known cinema Zoo Palast in Berlin Mitte.
Matthias tells us that this place especially is very close to his heart because of the many premiers he already got the chance to celebrate here and the memories that are linked to it. While dwelling in memories he gets comfortable in one of the big lounge chairs wearing our iconic CPH461M in leather mix white/black. Definitely a big recommendation if you want to want to catch the vibe of the golden era of German film.
3. Dinner – Katz Orange
After hanging around at the cinema for a while it got time for dinner and so Matthias brought us to the last stop for the day. His favourite Restaurant, the so called Katz Orange in Berlin Mitte. Whenever he gets the chance to be in the city for a while he tries to go here for a drink or two and catch up with friends and fans. A very special place and a personal recommendation.
