Granola – Frederiksberg
We pick up the couple in their cozy apartment in the center of Copenhagen and get ready for a cold but cozy day in the city. Mathilde started the day by wearing our CPH236 waxed nabuc black & her boyfriend with the most comfortable sneaker, our CPH151 leather mix white. Our first stop for the day is Mathildes favourite cafe when it comes to breakfast – Granola. We kick-start the day over a very delicious bowl of Yoghurt topped with Granola, different berries and a cappuccino.

Christmasmarket – Nyhavn
After a delicious breakfast we head to the iconic center of Copenhagen and visited the well-known Christmasmarket in Nyhavn. Usually they would get there by bike but they tell us that the metro is just as good and comfortable, especially during the colder season. With its colorful stalls, twinkling lights, and the scent of mulled wine in the air, Nyhavn transforms into a winter wonderland during the holidays.

We enjoyed some traditional danish treats such as the famous Glögg which is mulled wine that is served with raisins and different winter spices. Also the famous Ableskiver, which you can best compare to round shaped pancakes – definitely worth a try!

Picking up the tree and decorating
To continue the festive spirit Mathilde showed us around the place where she annually buys her Christmas tree. Tucked away from the bustling city streets you can already smell the pines scent around every corner. The perfect atmosphere to get in the mood for the upcoming celebrations.

Christmas Dinner at home
As the day winds down, we return back to Mathildes home where we get to warm ourselves up, putting our boots away and switching into our cozy new sliders, the CPH248 botalato black. The couple starts decorating the tree and get ready just in time for the awaited guests. We end the day with an early Christmas dinner with friends, handing each other gifts and shareing delicious food.

Copenhagen is truly a place where love and creativity flourish during the most wonderful time of the year. We can not wait to be back for next year to get to know even more inspiring people and show you hidden gems & places around this metropolis.
