COPENHAGEN MOMENTS – CPH FASHION WEEK
From 9th-12th of August, the beautiful city Copenhagen hosted Scandinavia’s largest fashion event: The Copenhagen Fashion Week. Many well-known designers and newcomers took part in the fashion shows and trade fairs and gave visitors insights into their new collections S/S23. The focus of this year’s event was sustainability because Copenhagen plans to be the world’s first climate-neutral metropolis in 2025.
COPENHAGEN STUDIOS accompanied the scandi fashion influencer @mariehindkaer during this period. The day after the fashion shows, we also invited 5 more influencers to join us for a Streetstyle shoot with @thestyleogrpah, as you could already read in the last blog post.

Interview with Marie Hindkaer
In between the shows of the brands Remain and Holzweiler we did a little interview with Marie to give you first-hand insights about trends, style and the city Copenhagen.
Marie: “I’m Marie. I am an influencer and an editor for a fashion magazine here in Copenhagen, Denmark.”
CPNHGN: “Thank you for your time, Marie. Let’s continue with a fashion related question: How would you describe your style?”
Marie: “My personal style is usually very casual. I like to combine casual pieces with some special elements like cute tops or cool chunky boots. I pretty much wear my COPENHAGEN STUDIOS boots every autumn/winter as they are super special and comfortable.”
CPNHGN: “Cool, that makes us happy! Where do you get your fashion inspiration from?”
Marie: “I often get inspired by Instagram and the people I follow. Additionally, I really enjoy looking for menswear. I often get more inspired from menswear than from womenswear.”
CPNHGN: “Oh that’s interesting. You have already been to a few fashion shows. Which trends will we see in Spring/Summer 2023?”
Marie: “Next year we will still see bright colours like green, blue, orange and pink. Nevertheless, the neutral-on-neutral trend must not be lost sight of. Cargo and baggy pants as well as knitted tops and dresses will continue to be a fashion focus. Generation Z will be very much on-trend!” Marie said after visiting the shows.
CPNHGN: “As a Copenhagen girl, what do you love most about this city?”
Marie: “I would say the people here. Everywhere you go there is such a relaxed atmosphere. There are also many good restaurants and galleries in the city. I really like living here.”
CPNHGN: “And last but not least: Do you have some favourite spots in Copenhagen?”
Marie: “One of my favourite places in Copenhagen is Apollo Bar, which happens to be not far from my home. There is also a large gallery where you can get inspired and enjoy some free time at the weekend.”
CPNHGN: “Thank you Marie for your time and the lovely day together. We are happy that you are a part of our CPNHGN family. See you soon!”
