Copenhagen Guide: Five things to do in Copenhagen
Hi Copenhagen Family, I am @Mariadjonsson, a danish Conetnt Creator from Copenhagen. As I love to explore every corner of this wonderful city, I will bring you guys along with me on a guided tour, wearing my
CPH181 leather mix black/cream beige. Copenhagen is filled with art, food, fashion, nature, shopping and lots of ‘hygge’, and that’s exactly why I love this city. Are you ready to go explore Copenhagen together?
Biking in Copenhagen like a local
As a local, biking around the city is the best and easiest way to get from A to B, and a very important part of my everyday life. It’s sustainable, cheap and my favorite way to explore the city. With Copenhagen’s many bike routes you can easily explore the different attractions and discrits in a short matter of time, and really get the city under your skin. My best tip is to rent a bike for a day, and go on an adventure of your own on two wheels.
Try the traditional Danish rye bread
Denmark is well-known for its delicious pastries and bread, so when you are in Copenhagen you must try our speciality ‘rye bread’ with cheese and butter. I absolutely love to visit Studio x Kitchen because of its great atmosphere, aesthetic interior and is located in the heart of Copenhagen. After a good cup of coffee and breakfast you can go for a lovely walk in Kings Garden.
Go for a walk in Frederiksberg Gardens
Copenhagen is filled with green areas and the most beautiful parks where locals like to exercise, catch up with friends while drinking a coffee or hangout during spring and summer time. Frederiksberg Gardens is a must visit if you’re in Copenhagen – and if you’re lucky, you can spot the cute elephants from the zoo next door on your walk through the garden.
Shopping in Copenhagen
Strolling around the streets of Copenhagen and finding cute and aesthetic stores is one of my favorite activities. On a daily basis I find a lot of inspiration in New Mags, Studio x Store, FRAMA, Le Petit Voyeur, Arhøj Keramik and Tableau. You must add these stores to your Copenhagen to-do list when you’re in the city.
Visit Statens Museum For Kunst
Copenhagen is well-known for its wonderful art, museums and exhibitions. If you’re going on a trip to Copenhagen you can’t miss out on the SMK Museum. SMK is located in the center of Copenhagen and is the largest art museum in Denmark. Here you’ll find great national and international art collections and exhibitions, and after a couple of hours of exploring the museum you can visit SMK’s café Kafeteria. Kafeteria has a lovely vibe and lots of delicious dishes, and I especially love their fluffy pancakes with home-made jam.
