5 PERSONAL PLACES IN COPENHAGEN –
WITH BIRTHA AND HELGI

Join us for our second episode of our „Five Personal Places“ series where young personalities from Denmarks vibrant capital Copenhagen show us around their personal favourite spots of the city. This time we follow the young creator couple @birtahlin and @helgiijons as they introduce us to their life in Copenhagen wearing our new collection. 

The best Bagels in Copenhagen – Depanneur
Our adventure begins of course with a good breakfast!
The first stop is bringing us to Depanneur, a cafe, that is
located in the area of Norrebro. @helgiijons tells us that this
place became their absolute favourite breakfast spot here in Copenhagen and that they start almost every weekend here with a hearty bagel and coffee. 

Best Vintage Stores & Coffee Places – Jægersborggade 
The street Jægersborggade is not too far away from our first spot and also located in the neighbourhood of Norrebro. An area that has turned from dodgy to hip and is now one of the most buzzing locations of the city.
Here you will find lots of galleries, ceramic shops, coffee places, vintage shops and local designers. @birtahlin always comes here for a stroll through the vintage stores as she loves to rifle through all the curated second hand pieces for Helgi and her.
After a quick shopping session they introduce us to their favourite candy:
 Danish caramel – very delightful. 

Favourite Ice Cream Spot – Ismageriet
No summer day is complete without enjoying a big scoop of ice cream!
 Therefore the couple takes us to Ismageriet, their absolute favourite when it comes to ice cream in Copenhagen. Birta loves chocolate with cookie chunks but Helgi is more of a basil-mint-type, as he preferres a more refreshing flavour. Big recommendation. 

Ending the day with good wine – Vinhannen
If you didn’t already know: You should definitely cycle your way through the city as this is by far the most convenient way to get from A to B and to absorb the cities particular atmosphere. 

So after a short ride through the area of Norrebro we hook up our bikes near Vinhannen, one of the couples most favourite wine bars. They often come here with friends to close the day and cheers to a successful day in Copenhagen. 

Evening dip – Refshaleøen
As the sun sets, our couple’s final spot for the day is Refshaleøen, a vibrant hot spot located in the harbour. The former industrial district has become a hub for creativity, good food and festivals of every kind. It is also a place where people of all age gather up to enjoy a drink close to the water or to have an evening dip during summer. @birtahlin and @helgiijons finish their day by laying by the water, enjoying some cold drinks and reading in the evening sun after a short swim.

We feel so inspired after spending the day with the two and can absolutely recommend visiting Copenhagen during summer as this city has so many nice places to offer.
