„MY COPENHAGEN“ BY JOSEPHINE JEIN

To get a more intimate and personal view of the trendy city of Copenhagen, we join people who live here and help to shape the character of the city. In our first chapter of “My Copenhagen”, Josephine Jein a sporty, fun and design loving woman shows you our Copenhagen.

Josephine ist very much a morning person. Before work, she first has a varied training programme: Josephine takes a dip in the Nordhavn basin and enjoys the peace and calm atmosphere at the popular place for sun-seekers and swimming enthusiasts.

Her second great passion is boxing. She trains young women to empower them to be stronger and more confident. For the workout she finds unusual places to do so – such as the Konditaget Lüders car park roof terrace, aka „PARK’N’PLAY“. The place was transformed into a public space where everyone is privileged to enjoy an extraordinary view as well as Crossfit equipment and climbing frames.

Josephine loves flowers, especially Copenhagen flowers. So it’s kind of her dream to job to work as a PR consultant at Tableau, which is not only a flower shop but also an art gallery and design studio. In a showroom in the 19th century building in the heart of Copenhagen (Kongensgade 50), Tableau presents flower arrangements in vase sculptures. The creative team also works on events, collaborations with artists and set designs for music videos or fashion shows.

Spending time with friends is just as important to Josephine as creative work and sport. An ideal spot to enjoy the beautiful Copenhagen summer is the street food market Broens Gadekøkken. It is located on Inderhavnsbroen between Christianshavn and Nyhavn right at the water.

Josephine’s constant companion is her dog Frank Louis. He follows her everywhere without a leash and loves the daily rides through the city in a bike basket, as the 27-year-old spends most of her time moving around the city on two wheels.
